Yummy for my Tummy...and Josh's too

I wanted to share some good eats with you. The first is Josh's birthday cake for this year. We celebrated his birthday late because he was gone on his real birthday. It's a chocolate strawberry cheesecake. It came from a diabetic cookbook, so you can make it low-sugar, low-fat, low-calorie, etc. (a.k.a. not good tasting). We're not diabetic, so I made it the full-fat, full-sugar way. Yummmmmm. If you want the recipe, here it is- RECIPE. Otherwise, just enjoy the photos.

This is called "Finally Done"

This is called "Josh getting Impatient"

And this is called "What? I only get one piece?"

This next one is a shrimp pasta dish from Emeril at the Food Network and it is FABULOUS. I am including a link for the recipe. But FYI, for those who don't like hot/spicy flavor, go easy on the jalapenos. I like this so much, I am already trying to decide when to make it again, and we've already had it a few times. Also, the picture doesn't really look like the finished product. The real thing looks better.

Here's the LINK
Enjoy!

Nicola! I'm so excited that you guys have set up a blog. It's fun to see what you and Josh are up to. I saw that Shara made your pasta recipe and said it was GREAT. I'm a sucker for a good past recipe, so I'll have to try it out. We'd love to hear from you sometime. Take care!

Nicola, you are amazing. It makes me hungry looking at it. I think I am going to try to make it. With all of the sugar and fat, yumm!
