No, I did not give myself hickies with a vacuum cleaner, I received 4 impacts from a Pepperball launch system today in the name of training. I also received some area saturation from a whole bunch of pepperballs launched in the immediate area around me so that I could breathe in the powder. The highlight of the day was shooting the FN303 pictured below. Luckily I didn't get those projectiles launched at me. Although they are the same diameter as the pepperballs, and actually launch 20 feet per second slower, they are filled with a bunch of heavy bismuth (like lead but eco-friendly) pellets in the front, and rifling on the back. This allows them to hit with almost 3 times the force of the pepperballs which are launched from what is basically an ordinary paintball gun.

Our Refrigerator
Our refrigerator is always full of food. It makes it difficult to go shopping, because we think, "Gee, we can't buy this because there is no room in our fridge." Unfortunately, we can't eat the stuff in our fridge because it is all condiments.
In an effort to declutter our fridge, I made pancakes the other day just as an excuse to eat syrup. We still have half a bottle of strawberry syrup, two partially empty bottles of maple syrup, and one little bottle of pure maple syrup that I took home from the Cracker Barrel.
Luckily, I like mustard, so we're down to 5 bottles of 4 types of mustard. I also finished off a container of mayonnaise this week, meaning we only have 3 open containers left in the fridge.
Pickles are a problem because the containers are so large. We have a 62 oz jumbo bottle of bread and butter chips, a 46 oz jar of original dill whole pickles, a 24 oz jar of Zingers hot dill pickles, and 16 oz jars each of sweet whole pickles and sweet pickle relish.
Other condiments in our fridge include 4 types of hot sauce, one bottle of salsa, 5 different kinds of salad dressing (although nothing to make a salad out of), ketchup, A1, two types of BBQ sauce, 2 bottles of liquid smoke, lemon juice, lime juice, sour cream, sliced jalapenos, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, whipped topping in a can, butter, margarine, spread, and 3 types of preserves.

What Happens in Vegas...
Spencer feeding a different goat; this guy wasn't quite as pushy as the other one.
Here's me feeding the same goat Josh fed. I was kind of scared he was going to head butt me if I didn't feed him. He had crazy eyes when he saw the food. Oh, and did I mention that this was gross?
Strike!

My Birthday Loot...revised
So, my sister in law Lisa complained that I wasn't actually in any of these pictures, so I changed some of them. The swimsuit one is not going to change though, sorry Lisa.
As Josh mentioned in the comments of the last post, I ordered my own presents. Josh was gone to camp, and he said I could just go ahead and do it. So here is what I got. For those who know me well, you will not be surprised to see that I got clothes and shoes. I do not need either, of course, because I have always had a serious shopping problem. I just love both and my birthday is the one time I can buy whatever I want and Josh can't complain. It is my favorite part about my birthday...besides the cake!
Oh, and since Josh was gone, I had a girls' day in Phoenix with some friends. We went to the temple and watched the Joseph Smith movie, then to lunch at Cracker Barrel; I love their mac and cheese. And then we did some shopping, and finally, we got pedicures, and they were the best! I got the soak, massage, callus removal, honey sugar scrub, hot stone massage, and the french tip pedi for $33! It was a steal, and I have to say my feet look very cute (see below). Thanks for the phone calls, texts, comments, cards, etc. I had a great birthday.
Here are my new flip flops. They are SO COMFORTABLE!
These are my new pair of jean capris. I bought some last year for Christmas (you can wear them year round here) but they are too big now because I lost some weight. (Good job me.)
My new swimsuit I got for our cruise, it's polka dot. (We are going to the Carribbean in December, it is going to be really fun.)

Ode to Nicola
Happy Late Birthday to Nicola!!
Honey - if you're reading this, I'm sorry that I missed your birthday, but I am home now, and I did call you yesterday.
I tried to find embarrassing pictures of you, but it appears that you have deleted them all from the hard drive of our computer. This is the best I could do. I bet you're wishing now that you remembered to delete this one too! Hahahahahaha
