I know, I know, you're all shocked. So I bought new doggie beds for Brutus and Lunar-their old ones were gross. We were going to throw their old beds away, but we were waiting until a friend with a truck could help haul them to the dump. (And this next part of the story is where I messed up.) So, in the mean time, I thought it would be okay to put the new beds on my bedroom floor until we could move them to the dog room. Bad Idea. Just look at the pictures, you'll see what I mean.
Here's the boys in their room after we got rid of the old beds. It's not a bad setup for a dog if you ask me.

And 15 minutes later, back in my (somewhat messy) bedroom. They picked the beds up with their mouths and dragged them back in there. Apparently, their bedroom is not up to their standards for sleeping anymore.
Here we go again. I put them back in the dog's room.
Look at Brutus pout.

Don't worry, Brutus showed me who's really the boss at our house. I was calling his name when I was taking the picture so he would look at me and he was ignoring me on purpose. What a punk.

This one happened a few nights later. Lunar was being really quiet so I called his name and he came out of my room instead of the dog's room. I walked down to see what he was doing and found this. Again I dragged the beds back to the their room and then went back down to the living room.

Apparently, Lunar was starting to understand I didn't want his bed in my room, so he decided to bring it to the living room instead. He was really proud of himself so it was hard to be mad at him.

On my way to bed each night, I usually stick my head in their room to make sure they're both in there. (Sometimes I forget that I let one or both of them outside.) Lately, this is what I find.

Hmm...something tells me my dogs don't have a lot of respect for me.

They just know who's REALLY in charge in their house! :)
LOL!!! This is such a funny story!!! Initially, it took a few minutes for the story to appear on the blog and all I saw was the pictures. But the story with the pictures made all the difference! I'm just sitting here laughing! What smart, funny, and stubborn dogs!
Don't you love how your boys have minds of their own...my two favorite pictures were A)Brutus ignoring you, hilarious...and B)cute lunar can't get much cuter with dragging his bed in the living room and then looking at you like.."What?"
That is hilarious. Who knew your dogs had such preferences. Man Nicola, they are definitley running the show.
That is hilarious, dogs crack me up. I am pretty sure that our little Teenie Weenie thinks she is human. I think they have you wrapped around their big paws.
That is awesome! You should do a spy camera and catch them in action! :)
Glad you're dogs are spoiled, too!!
